Bosnia and Herzegovina is a Country in Europe at latitude 44° 3′ 36″ North, longitude 17° 54′ 0″ East.

Početna stranica
Početna stranica na bosanskom jeziku je Bs:Main Page. Na njoj možete pronaći osnovne informacije za uređivanje OpenStreetMap karata, te odgovore na često postavljana pitanja, a sama stranica wiki projekta Bosne i Hercegovine koju upravo čitate je glavna stranica za koordinaciju korisnika iz BiH i za većinu drugih informacija.
Ukoliko se želite dodati u određene kategorije korisnika kao što su korisnici iz Bosne in Hercegovine ili određenog mjesta (Sarajeva npr.), nakon registracije na wiki openstreetmap stavite sljedeće u svoj opis profila:
Na stranici Bs:Map Features možete pronaći informacije kako označiti svaku pojedinačnu stvar tokom uređivanja karte, odnosno koje tagove koristiti.
Na karticama pri vrhu nalaze se korisni linkovi unutar WikiProjecta. Kartica "Kategorije" sadrži popis svih stranica vezanih za Bosnu i Hercegovinu. Pri kreiranju novih stranica postavite [[Category:Bosnia and Herzegovina]] kako bi se stranice pojavile ovdje.
Na kartici WikiProject_Bosnia_and_Herzegovina/Ceste nalaze se upute za pravilno označavanje cesta, te pregled svih kategoriziranih cesta u BIH. Ovu wiki stranicu redovito uređujte kad radite vezane promjene na OSM.
Na kartici WikiProject_Bosnia_and_Herzegovina/Corine_Land_Cover nalaze se upute za pravilno označavanje prirodnog pokrivača BiH, te progres ovog projekta. Ovu wiki stranicu redovito uređujte kad radite vezane npromjene na OSM.
Uređujte i ToDo listu na stranici WikiProject_Bosnia_and_Herzegovina/ToDo. Napišite sve što još treba učiniti, bilo na wiki stranicama ili na OSM-u i uklonite kada ste sve 100% uradili.

Kaart Mapping
Kaart conducts ground surveys for improvements to OSM data. A list of editors can be found on the here.
Sarajevo (January, 2019)
Ground Focus
- We focused on inputting street names wherever street signs could be found.
- Many new housing developments did not have street signs. Nor were there many street names on address plaques.
- Fixing inaccurate geometry was also a major focus.
Post Processing
- After the ground survey was conducted, our office team reviewed the footage gathered and updated street names by checking the consistency with current data and physical road signs.
- The team added turn restrictions, pedestrian crossings, surfaces to roads, lanes, and additional missing geometry.
Suggested Community Edits
- Due to time constraints, we were unable to drive all streets in Sarajevo, but did drive most of them. We did our best to find street signs for streets missing names in OSM, but were unable to find all. Community contributions in this regard would be very beneficial.
The ground survey of Sarajevo was conducted by Kaart Team members Velocimaptor and spuddy93.
Mostar (January, 2019)
Ground Focus
- Just as with Sarajevo, ee focused on inputting street names wherever street signs could be found.
- Fixing inaccurate geometry was also a major focus.
- In both Mostar and Sarajevo, we noticed that entire neighborhoods carry a single street name, rather than having individual names on smaller streets.
Post Processing
- Mostar was edited along with Sarajevo and the focuses were the same.
Suggested Community Edits
- Due to time constraints, we were unable to drive all streets in Mostar either. We did our best to find street signs for streets missing names in OSM, but were unable to find all. Community contributions in this regard would be very beneficial.
- Further ground surveys by the local community would be very helpful in continuing the mapping efforts in Herzegovina, especially in cities outside of Sarajevo and Mostar.
