Português: Este sinal indica ao maquinista se os dispositivos de segurança da passagem de nível seguinte foram acionados (nomeadamente, as cancelas, luzes e, por vezes, uma campainha). Luz branca indica que sim, e luz vermelha indica que não, obrigando o maquinista a parar a marcha antes de cruzar a passagem de nível.
English: This signal tells the train driver whether the level crossing's protection devices have been triggered (namely, the barriers, lights and sometimes a bell). White light means yes, the devices have been triggered; red means otherwise, meaning the train must come to a halt before going through the level-crossing.
