Does this permission apply to all Geoscience Australia data sets released under a CC-BY licence or was it limited to only the two listed in the email? I'd also like to confirm that attribution in the form of a listing on the Contributors page: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Contributors#Australia meets the requirement of giving Geosciences Australia appropriate credit under the terms of the CC-BY licence. Thank You Andrew Davidson

The permission I gave was for the 1: 250 000 GIS dataset but as the majority of our products are now released under CC-BY then it is not a problem. In theory, I do not need to give individual permission for each dataset. The attribution meets our requirements. We do usually like to have the CC-BY logo as well but if that is not possible then it is okay as is. CC BY Waiver
In April-May 2018, Andrew Harvey followed up with Geoscience Australia in light of the OSMF CC BY waiver. The Cataloguing & IP Librarian responding to the enquiry to <Copyright@ga.gov.au> noted "This email saying we agree to the waiver should be sufficient." after I sent through the waiver archived at File:CCBYPermission_GeoscienceAustralia.pdf. They are unable to actually sign the waiver document, but we should take their email that they agree to the waiver as acceptance by Geoscience Australia. See the full email at File:GeoscienceAustralia_CCBY_Waiver_EmailAcceptance.pdf
