Since Brecon Beacons National Park was formed in 1957, there would have been maps at the time, probably drawn on NPE, and legislation to found it. Find the original legislation and youve got the boundaries. Confirm if any boundary changes have since occurred with the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority, and you have most of your work done.
- Hi Welshie, thanks for the suggestion. At the time I did look at the original legislation, or rather the form online at opsi.gov, but could not find much information relating to the Brecon Beacons specifically. I am sure you are right but simply do not know how to go about getting the original legislation in hard form. Furthermore, while the maps may be out of copyright equally they may not due to revisions and so forth. Any ideas or information that anyone has would be gratefully received.
