Mapping tecnique

I've started with a Nokia 6630 with AFTrack and a bluetooth GPS antenna, the Hamlet HBTGPS20 (with Sirf Star III). After damaging it in a little OSM incident (see here) I've bought an OpenMoko phone, on which I actually use TangoGPS.

My mapping tecnique is to use both OpenMoko for tracking and (if I have both the hand free, when I run or on bike) writing POIs; in the mean time I use my new Nokia 6300 to catch voice notes (the audio format is amr, but i convert it on Ubuntu with Mobile Media Converter). Since Nokia 6300 doesn't add timestamps to audio files, I have no way to geolocate them on JOSM, but I simply indicate in the voicenote the place and some elements to take as referrals before speaking the feature I want to note.

Zone

Considerato che vivo in provincia di Bari, il lavoro da fare è veramente tanto, si può dire che siamo a zero. Ho appena cominciato a mappare Terlizzi, il mio comune. In qualsiasi caso, porto l'antenna sempre con me e mappo qualsiasi cosa mi capiti a tiro. Se siete delle mie parti e volete fare conoscenza, mapping o semplicemente un caffè, contattatemi.
