Introduction

On this page routing check data for North-Japan is provided. Since data will probably change fast we will have to update the data frequently. This means that organizing work in chunks like before (tables, line numbers) will not be feasable. So I beg each volunteer to add his/her work here - to avoid double work.

Nevertheless please try to organize the work in the section below

It's best to use JOSM with the Remote Plugin to solve the issues. You can jump from report to data with one click. If you want to work on a certain area use the GPX files and load them in JOSM.

Advice: Avoid those lists on which effort has been spent the day before. For example, if many people have been working on C11 yesterday, avoid C11, or start at the other end of the list (at the bottom if yesterday's work focused on the top, and vice versa). The database dumps which the error checks are run against are usually lagged by roughly one day, so many errors that were fixed on the previous day will still appear in the lists, and you may find yourself skipping through lots of perfectly fine data, while you could spend your time more sensibly actually fixing errors.

(when you encounter a problem (on linux) unzipping the file then "zip -FF japan.zip --out japan1.zip ; unzip japan1.zip" might help)

Changed area, started at 2011/05/03: lon: > 137.2 , lat > 36.15 and lat < 41.5 , so now limited to Main Isle Honshu, but complete east-west width. I recommended this change to get checks about complete Honshu Isle width, thanks to gary for changing area --Okilimu 00:11, 4 May 2011 (BST)
