Attribution/qld.data.gov.au explicit permission

In Nov-Dec 2013, Correspondence was initiated on the http://www.data.qld.gov.au/ site requesting explicit permission to include data from http://www.data.qld.gov.au/ with an attribution statement similar to http://www.data.sa.gov.au/. The outcome has yielded explicit permission with just one Department (Transport and Main Roads / TMR) with further correspondence planned in 2014 that is hoped to yield a whole of government response and/or permission.

The TMR confirmation has been confirmed in an email message that I have published portions of below (portions of headers at the bottom). Jason Ward 17:30, 24 December 2013 (GMT+10)

Dear Mr Ward,

Thank you for your enquiry to the Queensland Government data portal in relation to obtaining permission to include data from data.qld.gov.au in the OpenStreetMap (OSM) database. I acknowledge that the South Australian Government has recently provided OSM with permission to use data from data.sa.gov.au.

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) grants OSM permission to access and use the TMR-provided datasets obtained through the Queensland Government data portal, subject to the use of these datasets being consistent with the Creative Commons licensing for each set. More detail about each licence type is available from http://creativecommons.org.au/.

The following statement is included for attribution purposes on the OSM site:

"Contains data from Queensland government public information datasets. The original datasets are available from the Queensland Government data portal http://www.data.qld.gov.au/ and are subject to Creative Commons licensing. This permission is granted provided that attribution of each dataset used is given in the format Dataset Name, Date Published, Licence, Transport and Main Roads, originally retrieved from http://data.qld.gov.au"

Additionally, any use of the data for any particular reason is at the risk of OSM and TMR makes no comment on its suitability for incorporation into OSM’s database.
