Colorado has local, county, and statewide public transportation agencies. Currently, very few of them are included in OSM.
General Guidelines
All transportation routes should be mapped according to the PTv2 standard. At the minimum this should include:
- Relations for each direction of travel for the route
- A route master
- Every bus/train stop
- Correct operator tagged
Data must be collected from allowed sources. The most accurate data will come from taking the routes with a GPS. The on-the-ground reality may be different from published maps.
