The most popular Discrete Global Grids (DGG) are the foundation and practical reference for the most popular Geocoding systems. A "geocode", in this context, is the identifier of a cell on the DGG. The purpose of this page is to offer some samples and conventions to compare geocoding systems, as Geohash, MapCode, PlusCode, etc.
