Dev Server Account Policy

You need to read and agree to this policy before you can get a Dev Server Account. See also Using the dev server.

Requirements

• Directly OpenStreetMap related.
• Non-Commercial
• Preferably Open Source
• Don't be evil.

Strongly Discouraged

• Distributed Rendering / Computing
• Installing and making large web applications publicly available. (e.g. phpMyAdmin, MediaWiki, etc.)
• Own copies of the official Planet.osm from https://planet.openstreetmap.org/

Note

• You are responsible for the security of any applications you install or make available. (including web applications)
• You are responsible for the backing up of your applications and your data. The Dev Server is not backed up by the Operations team.
