About The Local Chapters and Communities Congress 2020 (LCCC 2020) is a virtual event where leaders and members of various OSM communities, whether they are officially recognized Local Chapters of the OSM Foundation or just a regular user group of OSM mappers, come together to share stories and learn from each other. Let’s get together and see what kinds of organizational efforts we can share together to support and grow our mapping communities! Usually, the Local Chapters Congress has been held in person at the global State of the Map conference and participants share something about what their local community is doing. Since we are going virtual this year, we are asking participants to instead submit a short write-up plus a representative photo that can be shared with all of the participants before the Congress starts. Once you have registered, please expect an email with instructions on how to do just that!

Let's welcome Geolibres (OSM Argentina), OSGeo Oceania, OpenStreetMap US, and FLOSSK (OSM Kosovo). Guest appearance from OSM Czechia (already signed) and OSM DRC (just accepted). 14:00 Open discussion Maggie Cawley (OSM US) This is a free time for participants to talk about concerns, ideas, and experiences especially about their local communities.
