• FOSSGIS 2025 conference (“German version of the State of the Map”)
  • discussions around how can we improve new mapper "onboarding" and engagement
  • ideas to improve selecting multiple features (e.g. all segements of a road), and how to more easily edit route relations in iD.
  • talks are available on youtube (in German, but auto-translations/captions should be available)

• Release 2.33 is coming in the next days
• GSoC proposals are coming in
  • make sure the proposal is "yours" (even if you're using GPT to help while writing your ideas down)
  • it's important that you understand the OSM ecosystem
  • idea: structure the proposal a bit like a scientific report (start with your background, related work, a general description before going into details)

• iD tagging repo
  • schema-builder upgrade -> next steps
  • suggestion: separate meetup for a deep dive on that (Martin will invite Kyle)
  • re-integrate schema builder into the tagging repo (alternatively: use git submodules)

• Advanced features
  • could be more modular, "plugin-like" (features can be enabled via preferences)
