IndianaMap
IndianaMap is a collection of open data and web services provided by the Indiana Geographic Information Office (IGIO) in partnership with geoConvergence and the Indiana Geographic Information Council (IGIC).
While there is a wide array of datasets provided by IndianaMap, the following may be most directly applicable to OpenStreetMap. NOTE: As of 2024, data sources were migrated from IU servers to IN.gov, ArcGIS Hub and AWS.[1]
Statewide Orthoimagery
Datasets
The IGIO and IGIC have coordinated several statewide orthoimagery programs since 2005. Data sources can be found on the imagery program hub or the AWS Registry of Open Data.
Programs of note:
- 2005-2006 - first statewide orthoimagery program[2]
- 2011-2015 - first program led by IGIO
- 2016-2019 - contracted to Woolpert, Inc.
- 2021-2024 - contracted to Sanborn Map Company
- Upcoming: 2025-2028 - contracted to Woolpert, Inc.
