The bench=* tag is used to indicate the presence of an amenity=bench associated with a feature, most commonly an amenity=shelter, public_transport=platform, or highway=bus_stop.
Values
- bench=yes: A bench exists, which may or may not be mapped separately.
- bench=no: A bench is not present.
- bench=separate: A bench exists, and is mapped separately.
- Note that separate is significantly less common than yes.
Example
Bus stop platform with a shelter, bench, and waste basket:
- public_transport=platform
- shelter=yes
- bench=yes
- bin=yes
