Suggested the following scheme:
- complexity:<use>=*
- <use>=[ skates | handicapped | sportscar | pedestrian | citybike | citycar | mtb | 4x4 | enduro ]
- values=[ easy | intermediate | challenging | difficult | tough | impossible ]
- ex:
- highway=track
- tracktype=grade3
- complexity:mtb=easy
- complexity:sportscar=intermediate
- complexity:skates=impossible
- complexity:citybike=easy
- wheelchair=no
- surface=gravel
I used this scheme in my surroundings, especially in the forests around where I was living.
Feel free to use it.
Meanings:
easy: | anyone should be able to use this way without special mentioning |
intermediate: | the average user of this way may find it not easy to use but is still capable mastering the task |
challenging: | most users will find it annoying or dangerous, but those of a sportsman's mindset will enjoy it's 'spice' |
difficult: | even a sportsman will not approve of this way any more. Advanced skills necessary to use, exhausting, but still doable with some effort, material is stressed |
tough: | only rednecks will master this challenge, very exhausting, a 'chaka' moment, material is eaten up |
impossible: | technically not realistic to use this way with the chosen device. Such as a single-track for a 4-wheeled vehicle or steps for a wheelchair. |
As for handicapped: use this as a hint for leading handicapped people of any kind and take your responsibility into account. Handicap may be physical or mental.
this tag is kept open by purpose
Yes, it is extendable by it's nature. There may be lots of different vehicle types to occur in the future or past I could not imagine or don't have any clue of. Feel free to extend in the spirit of it's inventor.
The sketch originated in 2009
And furthermore, this tag was not meant to be politically correct. If there is no sports motorbike mentioned, a combiniation of sportscar and enduro still provides enough information to categorize it's characteristics.
There might be better ideas around, though.
