The tag crossing:saltire=* (also known as a crossbuck) is used to tell if there is a warning cross on a railway level crossing.

How to map

Use this tag on a node . The node should be the one common to both the highway and the railway.

• railway=level_crossing - obligatory
• crossing:saltire=yes/no - is there a warning cross?
  • crossing:saltire=yes - default value, no need to map this
  • crossing:saltire=no - there is no warning cross
