Lincoln County Washington Addresses Import

This import will add addresses to the buildings recently added manually via the US Task Manager. The address were provided by Lincoln County, WA GIS manager for importing into OSM. The data is available for viewing. Originally the data was intended to be linked to the Task Manager task but to simplify the import, the data will have to be manually added.

The address data is broken in to precincts of the county. Two seperate tasks will be created in the US Task Manager, one for the Eastern and one for the Western half of the county.

There are a few buildings with existing addresses. These addresses are not included in the import. However, there may be building with an existing address that is not in the counties database.

Import Instructions

• Merge the address with the building if it is within the building outline.
• If the address is not within a building outline determine if it should be merged with a building considering if a nearby building is likely either a business or a home
• Leave the address as a node if the there are multiple addresses for a building or if there is not near by buildings.
• Use the counties parcel website to determine where boundaries of the parcel if unsure
