The Linux and Unix Users Group at Virginia Tech (VTLUUG) (vtluug.org) is a group dedicated to improving the computing skills of its members, supporting Linux and Unix use on campus, and serving the community through Free Software and open data. The latter point about open data was made specifically to include OpenStreetMap activities into the organization's mission statement, and was adopted during the 2010-2011 academic year.
