The shaft and top of the sewer vent are more likely to have been replaced, so a typology by base makes most sense.

  • Model without maker's mark: very similar in design, but 24 flutes (double-row as above)[6].
  • Dublin only: Bulbous base with date 1909 or 1912 and inscription "S.D. R.D.C" (South Dublin Rural Development Council) above maker's mark on one side and date on the other side
Hammond Lane Dublin Dublin Ireland Q120754577 Overall cylindrical with different width of the parts. Maker's mark with the words "Hammond Lane Dublin Foundry ??[7]" at the bottom most part. No flutes.[8]
