This page presents a project to import from source CNEFE/Base de Faces - IBGE - 2022;

Objective

This project aims to import data from IBGE, to improve and expand the municipality data.

Schedule

Import

The import management will follow the schedule mentioned below:

1. February 2025: Wiki import proposal creation, import proposal discussion on the import mailing list.

2. March 2025: Data validation and seamless data merging based on existing OSM data

3. March 2025: Import/Catalogue Inclusion.

4. March 2025: Import start and conclusion.

Import Type

This import at first thought will be used to map the cities lots data and numbering based on Cadastro Nacional de

Endereços para Fins Estatísticos (CNEFE) IBGE 2022 and Base de Faces de Logradouros do Brasil,

JOSM will be used to import data into OSM.

Data Preparation

Data Reduction & Simplification

No planning will be needed as the data is set by the borders of the municipality. It is not necessary because OSM has no addressing/lot data from this specific city.

Tagging Plans

The tagging data will have address numbering:

    SC_ESTABELECIMENTO => name
    CEP => "addr:postcode";
    NOM_TIPO_SEGLOGR, NOM_TITULO_SEGLOGR e NOM_SEGLOGR => addr:street;
    NUM_ENDERECO (DSC_MODIFICADOR) => addr:housenumber;
    NOM_COMP_ELEM1, VAL_COMP_ELEM1 => addr:unit;

Data Transformation

It will be set as GeoJSON initially and then imported to JOSM, after all is set, OSM import will begin.

Team Approach

I will be configuring data solo for now, but maybe there will be more additions on the future.

Workflow

I will be importing data with JOSM, with revisions and validation before sending data. It will be made in portions of suburbs and streets.

As in bulk import:

• Afforestation: whole city. (PENDENT LICENSE)

• Buildings: Data will be set with information set above (IMPORT TYPE)
• Curbs: Due to urban interventions, they need to be reviewed and updated manually by field survey and drawn by aerial photo.
• Lot data: Lot data as in addressing and street numbering of every building on the city, excluding buildings as mentioned above

As corrections and adjustments, among the published material, priority will be given to:

• Streets: realignment and correction of names, without replacements. Addition where non-existent;
• Bicycle roads: addition where non-existent.
• Leisure equipment: Correction and addition where non-existent;
• Green areas: correction and addition where non-existent.

The remaining data can be used as reference. Other users can eventually use its material and data to make corrections and research.

The dataset changes will have as source CNEFE/Base de Faces - IBGE - 2022;

Data produced by the IBGE are considered "Public Domain", can be used in OSM, except for the requirement to cite the source as "IBGE"; as recorded in Brazilian data sources, CNEFE data, IBGE, Brasil import

The bulk import will be made by the account https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/Unktneemo_Import, by the OSM user Unktneemo_Import.

Corrections, adjustments and microimports will be made by the account https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/Unktneemo, by the OSM user Unktneemo and by other users who are interested in helping.
