This page was used to organize the transition from OSB to Notes.
Start of the transition: around 2013-10-15
End of transition: 2014-05-02
OpenStreetBugs is deprecated and has been replaced by the Notes system.
In October the OSB database had 43500 open bugs. Between October 2013 and May 2014 about 9000 bugs have been moved to OS Notes and the rest of the bugs have been fixed/closed.

Worklist generated from the database (by user:werner2101).
The list splits all open bugs into junks of 75 bugs and provides links to export gpx files from OSB.
Hints to fix Bugs
General hints
If possible, close bugs with your osm user name. Please add a comment why you have closed the bug. Even short comments like "already in the map" or "fixed it with Bing" are fine.
Generic bug reports
Many of the bug entries are not user generated, other bugs can be detected by automated tools like keepright, OSM Inspector, ...
Here are some hints how to handle them.

Special codes in Moscow
User dedVorchun added lots of mapping notes with abbreviations to OSB. Here are some meanings:
- SBB - Shelter/Bench/Bin = Yes/Yes/Yes sbb - shelter/bench/bin = no/no/no S/s = Yes/no (1/0) on the stop bus
- 75/76/98/692... - ref of the bus routes
- 10909 ref10120: refs for bus stops or ticket selling POIs
- mgt: ticket selling POIs
- 11:30-17:00: opening hours, mostly in combinations with ticket selling stations
- lp, svet: highway crossings, traffic signals
Tools
JOSM with OSB plugin
- fix bugs the usual way
or:
- download a gpx file from the list of open bugs
- load it to JOSM
- use the function "Jump to next GPX waypoint" ... and fix the bugs.
OSB2Notes
see OSB2Notes. Use with care.
osb_fixing.py
specialized review tool for the phase out. It can move bugs to Notes, too (see next section).
Tool written in python (needs gtk): osb_fixing.pyw
Features:
- download a buglist with an area string
- jump through the bugs. Call Josm load and zoom, display the current bug
- ... now fix bugs in Josm, close old bug entries, ....
- move good bug reports to OS Notes if it is not fixable

Moving OSB entries to Notes
Useful but not fixable bug entries can be moved to Notes.
To keep the references:
- copy the OSB bug to Notes and add a the ref ID of OSB. e.g. "Moved from OSB, ID 12345"
- Take the new ID of the Notes bug and close the OSB-Bug with ref to Notes "Moved to Notes, ID 9876"

As soon as the bug count drops to a certain level of open bugs, we can make a mapping party to review all open bugs.
