Local education systems
Each country has its own educational system (and sometimes even not only one). That's why community of each country decide which values should be used for tags below. However if role and level is similar to some other value used in other countries, you should use that similar tag. E.g. for USA where higher education institutions are called "colleges", they however should use education=university instead of education=college.
Russia
State education system
Specified by education_system:ru_standard=yes. Roles in system:

| education=school | Institutions with primary, secondary and, sometimes, preschool education for children. |
| education=facultative_school | Facility that provides additional (to the primary education that taught in generic schools) specialized education in fields of art, music, sport and some others. Education in such places is conducted in the evening after main school hours. |
| education=college | Institutions of vocational (professional) training. |
| education=university | Higher education facilities. |
| education=subdivision | For departments of universities (called "facultet") and subdepartments of departments (called "kafedra"). |
| education=courses | Various courses independent from institution in which territory they based. |
| education=centre | Big educational centres that neither of institutions above. Bigger then previous item. |
| education=exercise_area | Open space training areas for firefighters, policemen, military and even electricity adjusters. |
| education=laboratory | Educational laboratories for educational experiments, could be combined with real laboratories. |
| education=test_centre | Testing centres, usually provides standard testing. |

Other education systems
Martial arts schools
Each martial art should be tagged as its own education system (because it has its own education levels, own education techniques etc). For example, karate would have education_system:karate=yes. There are two types of such educational facilities:
