Saba is a special municipality in The Netherlands, Caribbean, North America at latitude 17°37′55.56″ North, longitude 63°14′39.48″ West.

Street names and The Road

Street names were introduced on Saba some time after it joined the Netherlands. Nevertheless, there are basically no street name signs, except for a sign for Samuel A. Charles Street in front of the police station in The Bottom.

Note that The Road is not a street name and is instead represented as a route relation (relation 16312528). The Road is the main road route across the island, built in stages from Fort Bay towards Cove Bay (branches like the branch to Well's Bay were added later to the island's road network). The government assigned different street names to different sections of The Road, starting with Fort Bay Road and ending with Airport Road.
