Scotland Yard
Game plans of the popular board game Scotland Yard are representing mostly real cities. This variant of Scotland Yard[1] implements a full automized game plan generation process based on OpenStreetMap data and satellite maps from MapBox. On the one hand the automatization eliminates problems of the ubiquitous map generation processes that are carried out manually for usual. On the other hand we achieve a diversity in the game itself by allowing the player to select individual game plans.
The game
The game logic is based on the Game of Scotland Yard[2] by Shashi Mittal. Please visit the page of the documentation[3] for the information on how the game works.
Game plan generation
Before starting the game the player is asked to enter a valid address. This address is then selected as the center of the game plan that is about to be created. Please visit the page of the documentation[4] for further information on how to use the game in combination with the automated game plan generation process.
