An internet café (also known as a cybercafé, taxiphone, téléboutique, coffee net, café net, net café, lanhouse) is a place whose principal role is providing internet services to the public, usually for a fee based on the time used. In many countries, they offer phone cabins, fax services, and possibly other retail items like phone cards.
The use of "café" in the term "internet café" stems from the early days of such businesses, when they often provided snacks. Although that may or may not be the case today, the phrase has remained unchanged and can be a source of confusion. If the principal role of the business is the sale of food and/or drinks, use the amenity=cafe + internet_access=* tag combination instead.
The amenity=internet_cafe tag may also be used on the closely related service of an online gaming centre, also known as a LAN gaming centre or PC bang, if the primary focus of the place is internet service.
If the place provides multiple telephone cabins but not internet service, try the amenity=telephone tag instead.
How to Map
Set a node or draw as an area along its outline.
Then add amenity=internet_cafe to it. You can name it with name=*.
If internet service is offered as a sideline, do not use this tag. Instead, tag the shop or amenity as usual and additionally use the key internet_access=*.
If a place is truly multipurpose, you may use multiple nodes inside the area for each amenity. See Semi-colon_value_separator#When_NOT_to_use
