A shop selling books like:
- a massive bookstore as part of a chain (e.g. "Barnes & Noble", "Books etc", "Blackwells").
- a small shop or market stall.
- second hand books. See special tagging scheme
- antique books.
- only books on a specialised topic.
The shop should be predominantly selling books, but may sell other product lines e.g. stationery, calendars, newspapers & magazines.
How to map
Set a node or draw as an area along the shop outline. Tag it with shop=books and name=*.
Tags used in combination
- addr:*=* - Address details
- opening_hours=* - Describes when something is open or closed, there is a specific standard format for this data
- books=academic;antiquarian;children;comic;discount;religion
- second_hand=* - If it sells second hand books.
- wheelchair=yes / wheelchair=limited / wheelchair=no - Indicate if a special place can be used with wheelchairs
- payment:*=* can be used to specify how one may pay at this location
- operator=* - Сompany, corporation, person or any other entity who is directly in charge of the current operation of a map object
- website=* - Specifying the link to the official website for a feature
Cafes inside bookshops
It's quite common for large bookshops to have a little cafe inside. The best way to map these details, is to represent the large bookshop as a area 
around the building/shop perimeter and then place the cafe within this as a separate node 
. If you prefer not to add the bookshop outline, just place a node at the approximate centrepoint, but map the cafe as a separate node .
