The "Users" section claims "On the OSM website one may use "report the user form" will create a report. It will be seen by users with an “Administrator” role on the website and likely forwarded to Data Working Group". I can't seem to find that anywhere on the https://www.openstreetmap.org/ site. Is this an outdated reference to an older version of the design? --B-jazz (talk) 16:00, 6 August 2020 (UTC) Never mind. I figured it out. They are referring to the user page of a particular user, not the main page for OSM. I modified the verbiage a bit to hopefully clarify this for the next person looking to report a user. --B-jazz (talk) 16:34, 6 August 2020 (UTC)

Wiki abuse (non-spam)?

What is the correct procedure to report about abuse on the wiki, but which is not regular spam (for which handling is defined in Spam#Wiki pages)?

E.g. things like those User_talk:Rtfm keeps doing (edit warring, marking major changes as minor, unilaterally reverting changes he doesn't like etc)...

Is it contacting some of the Wiki:Administrators / Special:ListUsers/sysop / Category:Wiki_Team? Or opening a new section at Wiki:Requests for administrator attention?

Could someone knowledgeable please link proper procedure to Abuse page? Thanks! --Mnalis 01:17, 6 April 2025 (UTC)

First contact the user and discuss with them. If it didn't help, write on Talk:Wiki. maro21 19:03, 8 April 2025 (UTC)
