Talk:Corine Land Cover 2006 Poland

Some areas from Urban Atlas has been imported also in Slovakia - cities Košice and Prešov. Other cities are in progress. We decided to join areas divided by road/rail landuses for all but wide roads/rails. This step is done manually in JOSM and is the most time consuming. BTW I am the only importer of the UA in Slovakia so far.

We also import landuses from Corine 2006. Areas from Urban Altas have higher priority, but we would like to use Corine to better specify land use for Urban Atlas (eg. type of trees in forests...). Borders of the land use will be of course untouched from Urban Atlas. This is still only a plan.

• I was editing data along Polish-Slovakia border. Import of Corine data introduced low quality landuse making editing seriously harder (for example landuse=farmland covering forests, towns, roads). I think that overall this import was a mistake Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 10:58, 16 October 2017 (UTC)
