Introduction for editors of this page. It is hoped that this will become a suitable introduction to OSM for new users with an interest in using OSM in their business. Deprecate in favor of welcome mat?

Now that we have welcome.osm.org, we may no longer need this wiki page. I would prefer for us to maintain a 'FAQ' for companies in one place.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Mvexel (talk • contribs) 18:18, 17 December 2018‎

Well, even after reading two of the outlines about "Welcome mat" I do not understand the reason behind duplicating the information there and why this can not be achieved with the current wiki. Obviously, it should be more professional and better accessible to companies, but in the end the page links back to the wiki (like to Organized Editing Best Practice).

I am not necessarily opposing. I just do not get the situation you aim to achieve in general. --Tigerfell  (Let's talk) 22:36, 17 December 2018 (UTC)
