Any group or a specific group?

Does group_only=yes imply that one must be a member of a particular group to use the facility, or that any sort of large party can reserve the facility?--Jeisenbe (talk) 16:27, 5 July 2019 (UTC)

Minh_Nguyen recently edited the page to imply that this tag refers to any sort of group, rather than a specific group. Minh Nguyen, do you have information that this tag has mainly been used in that way, rather than being used to show that a feature like a campsite is limited to members of a particular scouting group or church or club? --Jeisenbe (talk) 02:50, 28 December 2019 (UTC)

group=yes/no/only

How about replacing the group_only=* tag with a group=yes/no/only tag? This might make it easier to solve some cases. --Osmwithspace (talk) 09:29, 18 February 2025 (UTC)

group=no is useless, so group_only=yes seems to be more intuitive than the group=yes/only. Something B (talk) 11:12, 18 February 2025 (UTC)
