Not just the UK
These signs are included in the Vienna Convention and are prevalent across the whole of Europe, not just the UK as the article states. --Csmale (talk) 13:09, 19 January 2016 (UTC)
What is the priority tag when a single lane road is controlled by traffic signals
In Wellington, New Zealand, there are several single lane two way roads controlled by traffic signals. For example, the Hataitai Bus Tunnel. Does the tag priority=signal seem like a good idea in these situations? - Huttite (talk) 12:08, 7 January 2017 (UTC)
- These don't control priority but show stop/go signals, right? Then these would be highway=traffic_signals. -- StenSoft (talk) 21:48, 16 February 2017 (UTC)
- Historic note: Add oneway=alternating. ---- Kovposch (talk) 04:17, 18 December 2020 (UTC)
Equal priority?
I sometimes come across 4-way junctions of the same classification of road where there is no road or posted signage as to who has priority, so presumable these are equal priority. Then perhaps an extra value of priority=equal should be listed for use on junction nodes where this is the case? --Pink Duck (talk) 12:24, 29 October 2017 (UTC)
In Ireland, it's common for narrow bridges to have equal priority too. Not clear how to tag for that. Dónal (talk) 09:47, 17 December 2020 (UTC)
