I notice that whole cities have been mapped at once, and then erased again, what happened here? --Ipofanes 13:02, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- City data was illegally copied from proprietary maps without getting permission from data owners and therefore were deleted by Open Street Map Foundation. Tstraupis 17:55, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
If one looks at Tagging_samples/urban, it seems that most of what is recommended to be marked unclassified in this page is actually supposed to be residential. Of course, given that both are rendered exactly the same, it's just a minor point. However, this article should also stress that marking access roads to blocks of flats should be done with living street, because I've seen people using residential for this, and that looks just wrong. Just my rookie opinion though. Carneyfex 08:58, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
