Awards for 2022 or 2023

Will be there any award for this year? or next year even in the State of the map event will not take place? AngocA (talk) 00:19, 14 November 2022 (UTC)

It would require someone to be interested in running them. Deciding the criteria/mechanism, promoting the various stages of those, awarding certificates (and potentially sourcing prizes). Drop the State of the Map organising committee if you're up for doing that. In the past Ilya organised the awards for a number of years, so it might be good to talk to him. Awards for 2024

Is there a chance for this event to return? If there is no one willing to run this event can I take over the organization of these awards? I’m interested in running them.
