Competitive animal training
If amenity=animal_training is only for non-competitive animal training and animal=school is not suggested to be used. How to tag competitive animal training? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nickel715 (talk • contribs) 2023-10-01
- I am the one who added "non-competitive" here when I created this page because it was described like that on the older page Animals. If you can give good reasons to remove the word, I wouldn't mind if you did that. I think the general idea behind this was, that training für competive animal sports (e.g. sport=dog_racing) is probably done where competitions (could) take place, and for these the usual leisure tags + sport=* are used. --Hufkratzer (talk) 09:12, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
How to distinguish between the multiple types of training?
How would I tag a facility where dogs are trained to assist e.g. blind people? I've also seen stuff like dog:discipline:obedience_belgium:4B=yes (213 occurences), dog:discipline:agility=yes (74 items) and (all below 15 items) dog:discipline:ring=yes, dog:discipline:flyball=yes dog:discipline:mondioring=yes dog:discipline:dogdance=yes dog:discipline:obedience=yes dog:discipline:obedience_belgium:4D=yes dog:discipline:show=yes --Pietervdvn (talk) 02:33, 20 January 2025 (UTC)
