If it's a boat shop which ALSO rents boats (and / or possibly offers further services),
it's easier to express everything using a namespace like boat:rental, boat:type instead,
see the "services" tags in shop=boat

motorboat_rental=yes/no

Laut Proposal ist aber auch motorboat_rental=yes/no statt der jetzigen Änderung motorboat:rental=yes/no vorgesehen. und abgestimmt ist es auch noch nicht - wenn überhaupt.

Schlimmer finde ich das es in OSM umgesetzt wird - per Massenedit http://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/49702224#map=3/38.36/6.70 - für mich ein mechanischer edit.

Ich bin für einen Revert. Ich habe bisher z.B. motorboat_rental=yes/no verwendet und schaue nicht jedesmal im WIKI.--Geri-oc (talk) 06:16, 21 June 2017 (UTC)

I think we should use english on the english wiki page. Here is the reason for the change. The proposal is from 2010 and still not voted on. The number of affected nodes isn't very high. rtfm Rtfm (talk) 17:22, 21 June 2017 (UTC)

Reverted tag format adjustment

For "the rest of the world" : There's a "circle of chairs" which insist on discussing everything, but it seems they just want to discuss in German : [[1]]. Nevertheless, they decided (without mentioning why) the undiscussed version in the proposal of 2010 is better than the version of 2017 which fits to the other boat rental tags. This led to the last revert you may see in the history of this wiki page : 22 June 2017‎ Nakaner Revert revision 1483408 rtfm Rtfm (talk) 18:27, 22 June 2017 (UTC)
