Leasing
See https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Talk:Tag:shop%3Dcar#leasing-only for question how to mark location leasing cars (for years/months) Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 06:12, 20 March 2023 (UTC)
- I'd suggest car:leasing=*, besides or instead of

- I am NOT asking how to mark whether you can lease thing. I am asking is it fine to use shop=car for place offering leasing only. Also, please stop using that template on talk pages - it takes massive amount of space Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 13:59, 20 March 2023 (UTC)
- That's exactly the idea behind the namespace. You don't need to care what the "main" node is. Especially in case of rental, this may be done by way more than shop=rental. The table takes exactly 81 characters, way less than "classic" tables : Taglist|tags=car:rental=*,motorcycle:rental=*|with_count=true|with_rendering=true.
- The car:leasing=* may be done by any office, as already mentioned by Fizzie41 here https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Talk:Tag:shop%3Dcar#leasing-only Rtfm (talk) 14:12, 20 March 2023 (UTC)
- I am asking about use of existing tagging, not trying to invent new one and in particular I am not interested in replacing shop=* and amenity=* values by plethora of namespaced tags you promote Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 18:48, 20 March 2023 (UTC)
- "The table takes exactly 81 characters" - I am complaining about extreme and noisy presentation when rendered. If you would post "car:rental=*, motorcycle:rental=*" then it would be fine. Rendered table takes 306 characters, 12 images including two very large ones and excessive amount of layouting table. Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 18:49, 20 March 2023 (UTC)
