I think this could do with more tags as part of tagging public washing machines. The volume of the machine in kg, payment=*, maybe how long the washing cycle is, shelter=* and so on. I have never used one, but they are quite common at Irish petrol stations with usually three different options in volume. (I'll try to take a photograph next time.) Capacity

Would capacity=* be a good key to define the weight in kg that a washing machine is able to support? --AntMadeira (talk) 03:10, 19 December 2022 (UTC)

I feel uneasy about using capacity=*, because it's usually a number without any unit of measure, isn't it? I would prefer something like "volume" in kg, even thought that is not correct from a physicist's perspective. But I think that's what is usually used in "washing machine language". That's well spotted. Instead of volume, maybe we could use maxweight=*. It seems to be used in other elements, other than traffic limitations. Maybe we could extend it to other amenities like washing machines. Or we could adopt maxload=*, which is more descriptive, I think. --AntMadeira (talk) 16:35, 19 December 2022 (UTC)
maxweight=* sounds like a good idea.B-unicycling (talk) 19:20, 19 December 2022 (UTC)
