leisure=pitch and sport=disc_golf?

Should we be using leisure=disc_golf_course, or leisure=pitch and sport=disc_golf? - 00:32, 28 November 2017‎ Adam Schneider

Another relevant alternative would be leisure=sports_centre with sport=disc_golf. However, most disc golf courses are in a park or another feature, and are not a specific sports centre or playing field, so it might be reasonable to have a specific top-level feature tag, as with golf and miniature golf. --Jeisenbe (talk) 14:03, 25 August 2019 (UTC)

How to tag multiple holes from single tee?

On some disc golf courses there are two or more baskets. Usually these are defined as short and long courses or named. Players choose which they want to play and will score by playing to one of the baskets for a single play through. I think it is best to show different holes (the lines from tee to basket) for each of these different courses. But how can we differentiate them?

Is it best to label the reference tag with hole "3 Short" and "3 Long"? Or maybe they should be grouped into different relations for the course? Or both?

Thoughts? --Zandu (talk) 2:42, 12 September 2024 (UTC)

I have something about that but unfortunately i did not note it down. But when improving the site i stumbled across this problem already and there are solutions for that that do not include a ref like you mentioned. I will try to find it or otherwise discuss it in the forum. --Negreheb (talk) 08:24, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
