This template gives the vertical bar |. It has been replaced with a magic word, but the template can still be called by using the Template prefix or adding parameters.

Use {{!}} when you need a vertical bar | inside a template. If you need a vertical bar inside a table, use {{pipe}} instead - see Template:Pipe.
