Use this template with the syntax {{PD-self}} to put a label on a file description page, to indicate that you created the image are releasing it to the public domain. Alongside this label you could also describe how you created the image e.g. location where you took the photo.
If someone else created the image and released it to the public domain, use {{PD-creator}} instead.
