Problems with this template

This template is currently only used by one page, which contains the following instructions: "This is about helping beginners to take decisions! So please use only tags/schemas that are well known and accepted by the community, to bring a max. satisfaction!" Despite this, the template contains a lot of tags that are completely nonstandard.
I also wonder why we need a template at all if there is only one page that uses it. It would be a lot simpler to split the content into two sections (one for approved and/or established tags, and the other one for proposals) if all the content was directly on that page. --Tordanik 23:35, 26 June 2014 (UTC)

building=balcony

I will remove claims about building=balcony and similar, present as of https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w/index.php?title=Template:Map_Features:3D&oldid=2700947 as this describe tagging scheme not in real use and conflicting with widely accepted understanding of building=* Mateusz Konieczny (talk) 08:48, 9 December 2024 (UTC)

amenity=post_box

Why stuff like amenity=post_box is listed here? Yes, it can be rendered, but nearly all features from Map features also can be. Duplicating Map features on this page seems to not be a good idea.

I will remove it, please protest if it seems wrong. I think that removing far more such entries would be a good idea.
