Samuel Paul ALCÉ has a bachelor degree in Geography, Geographic Information System (GIS) and sustainable development from University of Quebec at Chicoutimi. He has over 10 years of experience with organizations, like USAID, DAI, Chemonics, IOM, Papyrus, Architechture for Humanity, Concern Worlwide etc. providing GIS services such as: mobile data collection, leading M&E teams, and developing and running training programs. He has also participated in the database design for several projects. He also managed data and did created analysis products for quarterly and final reports. He is an active mapper on the OpenStreetmap platform. He also is a voting member of the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT). He recently was the M&E Senior Field data coordinator for the USAID/ DAI, a feed the future project, in the northern of Haiti. He is currently working on his own project TapTapMap which is a platform where all the traffic lines of Haiti are mapped and made available for everyone.
