This user uses or has experience with a Garmin eTrex Legend and is willing to answer questions on it from OSM users.

I started Wikiproject Pennsylvania to try to help organize mapping in Pennsylvania. I use a Garmin eTrex Legend which I carry on my bicycle. I am especially interested in applications of the data that make life easier for cyclists.

Now that the TIGER import is done, I'm directing my attention to outdoorsy pursuits. I am trying to map State parks, State Forests, and State Game Lands, as well as any hiking / bicycling trails contained therein.

Licensing

I am a fanatical, fundamentalist bigot when it comes to licensing. I believe the magic of OSM is due, in large part, to the viral "share-alike" license.

Insanity

I've become so obsessed with OSM that I've enrolled in a Geography course at my local University to learn more about cartography, GIS, etc.
