I have been mapping in Sophia Antipolis (France) and the near cities like Antibes and Nice. I'm software engineer, currently working on my PHD-thesis. I mostly use Yahoo-imagery for mapping. Street-names are then copied from street-signs (if you see a very old Mercedes stopping at each intersection, that's probably me;).

All my contributions to OpenStreetMap are released into the public domain. This applies worldwide. In case this is not legally possible, I grant anyone the right to use my contributions for any purpose, without any conditions, unless such conditions are required by law.
