I am active in the Washington, DC area through our local mapping group,MappingDC. I mostly map in and around Arlington County, VA though I am also active in other areas that I frequent from time to time. Increasingly, I'm focusing on refining techniques for conducting street surveys. I hyperlocal features that may be useful at a neighborhood or community level. I also focus on collecting bike and foot paths in parks and natural areas.

I served on the 2010-2011 board of the United States Chapter, and am also an organizer of TeachOSM.
