I have come up in the geospatial community starting in college learning raster and vector based data processing. I have spent the last couple of years exploring open source and community projects building a strong community within Boston around geospatial.
After attending SOTMUS at the UN this year I have become very excited about participating with the OSM community. I found that the conference was full of idealism and many practical people trying to make the world a better place by building a strong sense of place with OSM.
