Some features need publicity to be discussed. I hoped that a link to "how to map a" would draw more attention to the issue. It did not. The discussion about place_of_worship:type is ongoing since over 2 years without progress. Still no renderer can map a chapel, cloister, basilica, temple, embellished tree, because OSM does not contain this information. OSM is sluggish to adapt in some respect where it could compete with traditional hiking maps. As OSMF member you should be able to recognize the benefit of being able to catch up with paper hiking maps that allow good navigation even without GPS. Katzlbt 07:07, 2 May 2011 (BST)
