My name is Chris(tian) Browet. I'm Belgian and live in Brussels.

Why

Seeing the recent developments in the world of cartography (Teleatlas and Navteq being bought by Tomtom and Nokia, respectively), I feel that there is is an urgent need for free map data to be available, which in turn allows open-source routing software to build upon it.

Areas

I live and work in Brussels(pentagon), so this will be my main focus point. I also often ride to Jette/Ganshoren and Waterloo, which will be my secondary focuses.
