My name is Melanie Eckle. I joined OSM in 2012, since then my interest is in the use of OSM for disastermanagement and emergeny planning. Therefore I did an internship with Kathmandu Living Labs (Nepal) [1] and co-founded the disastermappers heidelberg initiative [2]. We are currently working on large scale Mapping projects with the Missing Maps project [3]. I am developing country specific training material (tracing guides) to support remote mappers and am also condcuting research about remote mappers` data quality and engagement.
