I am also in Fort Worth, and am in the Southwest area, near Hulen Mall. I've been concentrating on this area, and just want to make sure we don't overlap too much, although, some experienced oversight is always welcome. I've just gotten hooked on OSM, and am hoping I can avoid it becoming an obsession :-)

Hey Turbodog, Its great to finally have company on the OSM Fort Worth page! I have been working on the area around 820N and I35W, although sadly my work has recently required that I focus a lot on mapping Atlanta, Georgia. I am interested in getting Fort Worth mapped and possibly starting up a weekly or bimonthly meeting for local mappers. There are a few active mappers in the mid cities area and a couple in Dallas. They meet once a week but the location in is Plano and thats just too far to drive. Best, Thea Clay

--- Updated --- Well, looks like we're working nearly opposite sides of the city, so we probably won't step on each other much. I go grab a target of opportunity now and then in the downtown area, but am not consistently working there. I've spent a lot of time in the Atlanta area over the years. I retired 4 yrs. ago from Lockheed. Our sister facility is in Marietta, and I worked on a program where they were primary.

I HOPE to not get too involved in mapping, but it is addicting ("Oh, there's a road running right through the Sam's store, gotta fix that."), too many other irons in the fire already.

Saw your clip on Fox5 Atlanta. As a newbie, I didn't realize we had an OSM celeb here in Cowtown. Congrats on the Atlanta success and publicity for OSM.
